Finally got round to fitting the brightness kit from panaromix and running all the cables and installing the camera (Excellent service and extremely fast postage so thanks mate and would highly recommend)
however had issues with two cheap cameras from amazon, they looked ace for adjusting to see tow hitch but didn't last 10 minutes when powered up continuously so ended up buying a larger camera like you would fit to a van/small truck.
only issue i have as when i enter the hidden menu and test the camera in PAL mode it has a black band approx 1/4" thick along the top 3rd of the screen but when switched to NTSC it is fine.
Is there anyway to lock it in NTSC mode as it keeps jumping back to PAL when i leave the menu again???

+1 for Panoramix, mod delivered within 36 hours from Spain to Manchester UK.
Shame big suppliers can't match that, it took Famous Four that long just to inform me that what I wanted was out of stock and would take a week to source '

Hi all - I have just ordered the kit from Panoramix, can someone please let me know (I have trawled the thread but not found the answer as there are too many pages!) :
Is it necessary to have reverse camera enabled in the CCF before it will work in FFRR mode?
If so anybody in the Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire area that knows how to do this and how much would it cost?
Many thanks

Is the only way to enable it through IID tool for LR or a regular mechanic shop obd2 tool could cut it?
If so how to do it?

Just done this upgrade exactly as per the instructions but now I only have the sat Navy screen. Neither the home or sat Navy buttons seem to work and I can no longer get the 4x4 info. Anybody know what I have done wrong55 Plate Disco 3 HSE. EGR blanked, Decat exhaust, AMK Compressor, bought 20 Dec 13. Watch this space for future upgrades. - Disco 4 front cup holders, D4 Bluetooth, Brembo 4 pot front V8 rear brakes, front diff breather mod, BAS FBH controller, fixed towbar, D4 heated washer jets
Silicone intercooler hoses, RS 500 Intercooler, decat exhaust, remap
IID tool used to enable 3 flash indicators, clock on dash, reverse follow me home lights, snotm, AMK compressor update and still learning
