The recall is to fit filters between the cameras and module to help prevent the blue screen.
This is only for vehicle with surround cameras.
VIN range LA513326 – LA572000

Mine is just out of the chassis number range which is probably why I haven't heard anything Cheers Ian

Do you know the code of the recall (or TSB) or the filters part numbers?

It was a tsb, mine has had it done and it did not cure the problem fully. I still get a blue screen occasionally for the rear camera - D4's going back in on Tuesday.

Mine's just back from the service action |
|
Just got my D4 back from service action - the front nearside was intermittent - it fixed that but now the drivers door mirror camera is intermittent - it flashes green and purple and then goes to blue screen.
I guess back to the dealer - any ideas ? Was there an upgrade for wiring routing / overlay loom ?

The hot weather over the past few days seems to be causing a loss of camera image and blue screen on my 2010 Disco4 - not always the same camera but generaly the rear one and any of the other 4.
When it cools down in the evening the cameras are fine again.
Booked in for Monday under warranty.

BSD blue screen of death! |
|
Hi
I Had the BSD on the rear camera during the hot weather, with the intermittent fault on one or other of the side cameras.
Now the temperature has dropped significantly the problem has stopped.
Anyone know what caused/causes this camera issue that appears heat related.
It was warm last year and the year before but I had no problems then!
Is it due to the route of the wiring or something like that ??

I've had problems with the suround camera's on and off for about a year - all fixed now and I'm not sure what the dear did. They had the car in twice, both times for about a week and each time LR were involved. Not had any problems since, I don't think hot or cold temperatures make any difference as my cameras failed in all temperatures - but it was always the same 2 (rear and drivers side front)
