I have had good experiences of TSL in my Defender and D3, but what I am wondering is, has anyone used this in a new D4, if so what have you found with it? Joined the BMWX5 45e group

@ Dave T
This sort of product will help any engine but
I would hold out until you are confident that your engine is properly run in the lack of friction may delay things bedding in properly you will only need a few thousand on the clock Club original turbo
161k and counting
general AT's, oval timer, blanked egr's, silicone intercooler hose's

Sound advice from Pinhead.
Give it a good few miles Dave
Once it hits 2.500+ it'll be ready for TSL.

TOTAL OIL TEST RESULTS
Hess, Im watching this thread with interest and your product does seem to have good results. But the advertising you are using is a bit off putting. There are plenty positive responses from forum users to convince me it is doing something. But your post about the Total oil test results is meaningless and appears an attempt to "hype" up the product. Had you posted that 2 engines were exposed to the same running hours and loads, 1 with the TSL treatment and 1 without, and the treated engine showed less wear, then its great for the product. But saying an engine was treated and run for 100 hours and no damage found inside proves nothing on its own. Same with posting up invoices from various well known companies...whats to say they arent buying it to run trials of thier own. Just because someone buys something, doesnt mean its an endorsement for the product. Ive bought plenty things over the years that have turned out to be crap!
I may well try this in the near future as any mpg saving these days is a good thing!

Swansty,
I provide everything I receive from the manufacturer for informational
purposes. What I post here are details of the product I sell, I am the only
distributor of TSL in the UK and when a Lotus Evora is racing around Silverstone in the
24H race, of course I am going to post about it here. How else would people
get to know about the product.
The reviews and responses so far are also because of the information I have provided
at the start of all of this. I can not think of a single product that isn't advertised in one way
or another, whether that is with test results, with event participation, bill boards, commercials on TV,
newspaper adverts, Google marketing etc etc etc.
I do not see why it would be off putting. Nor why I'm accused of trying to "hype" a product.
Nobody forces anyone to read it. And nobody forces anyone to buy it either.
The Total oil test results are of a Cosworth engine that gets rebuilt over and over again.
Same engine build, same engine manufacturer, same design.
It is due at 50 hours, each and every time. This is not a one off thing.
This is when the engine is considered finished. And a new one is put in the car.
The car used to run without TSL and they rebuilt the engine at 50 hours every time.
Now that the car has been using TSL for a good while, the engine has been recently
subjected to twice the normal length it would normally be used for.
And the oil test results are from that engine, which covered 100 instead of 50 hours.
So in actual fact there is a before and after TSL scenario in this.
The invoices I posted were in response to claims I made, which I could substantiate
as proof with these purchase invoices, rather than saying, oh well you got to take my word for it.
They are buying the product, but contrary to your statement, they actually do endorse
the product as for example a video is available filmed at Boon Edam headquarters in Holland
where they endorse the product by stating that they use it in their doors.
I am not going to start putting large multinational names on a forum that gets read by
numerous internet spider-bots with wild claims that can land me in some very difficult waters.
These posts aren't limited to just this forum, searches show these posts as results also
when you're looking for Boon Edam to buy a door and have never even sat in a Discovery before.
I like to share what I think are interesting things about the product. I think it
helps people make up their minds about it and the people who have bought it and
tried it in their cars are very important indeed. Their comments and reviews are
very important for the product and what they write gives people who are considering
buying TSL a bit more confidence that at least they are buying a product based
on responses of real people who have real experiences with the product.

All seems fair enough to me Hess
Mine arrived this morning so about a day or so turnaround which is impressive in any scenario nowadays but of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating so thats why I bought some after reading all 16 pages which was the hardest task but convinced me enough to give it a try at least.
Will let you know how I get on.
