Danger Dave - sorry don't have any photos. The process is very simple.
The camera has a special connector that sits in the area by the no. plate lamps. On an OEM fully watertight fit you need to purchase a new tailgate microswitch that includes the power and video to & from the camera.
You then need to change the tailgate loom - for one which includes the power and video wiring. This loom then attaches directly to the brown fakra (video) and black power plug shown earlier in this topic.
The switched power is now provided, and the picture is routed to the black fakra (below the knob and centre console/cubby).
There are clear simple pictorial instructions of how to remove the cubby/console.
You then just need to route a coaxial cable from this black fakra up to the back of the screen and connect it to the 3rd connector (counting from right to left). I had a spare cable from previous messing around, however I thing you can buy neutral coded fakra pigtails from the forum shop? RG 74 is just the designation of the coaxial cable.
Finally, access to a trusty faulmate to switch it on.
The whole oem process didn't come cheap - i think about £220.00 in parts.
You can always make up a custom loom of your own to provide power to and video from the camera - this will save approx £100.00, but I favoured the correct watertight connections at the camera end.
I will look back through my invoices and list all the OEM part no's if anyone is interested.
Cheers
Andrew

Has the strip down of centre console to get to the sat nav.
I think Andrew got his parts from Nick (TLO) so he'd be the man to ask and should know what you are talking about.
I spoke to Andrew about this mod and thinking of doing it myself (just waiting to see if the next FW update on the IIDtool will allow rear camera activation).
I did take off the head line plastic on the roof and the brown fakra is there. Not done the strip of the console yet.
As you say £220 not bad for the real deal.
Grant.

Hi Dave,
Sorry to delay - i've been routing through my paperwork trying to ascertain the correct part no's. Unforunatley LR description isn't very precise, lots of things are just refered to as 'wiring'.
There is a great pdf here about the centre console removal http://www.bellautoservices.co.uk/public/p...nstall.pdf
The tailgate is very simple - just pulls off (take the trims around the window off first), and then the handle unbolts.
Parts and prices from TLO
LLR021100 - microswitch with camera wiring - £ 30.88
LLR023365 - camera(rear view only, analogue) - £102.66
LLR015458 - tailgate loom with camera wiring - £ 90.51
All prices are plus VAT.
Be sure to check the part no's with Nick prior to ordering - just in case I have made a mistake.
Good Luck
Andrew

Also, I think that someone would be more than happy to help you pull your car apart, sorry, I mean help you do the install.

I have sent PM to TLO for parts. Once they've arrived I am happy to photograph and document process and post it on this thread. Hopefully there won't be too many problems (or damage) in the process.
