Anythings possible Greg. I am bringing my S2a down, and you will see that I have been playing around with her a bit. She's a 109 soft top, so has loads of space in the back, and many possibilities come to mind.

Plan to purchase these and install on/in my trailer.
Is it just a case of running cable from the panel to the regulator, then more cable from the regulator straight on to the battery to keep it charged? Sorry if that's a bit of a numpty question
Also can I still use the battery when it's being charged?
What cable should I have going from the regulator to the battery?
Do I need anything else?
Thanks for this Iggy/Ieuan

you will get a far better charge from the same panel using this MPPT controller.
you might want to look at the PV panel you have selected, there is no frame on it for mounting, that would make it a bit fragile in my opinion, you essentially have a sheet of glass to mount somewhere, i would use a unit in a aluminum frame.
yes its as simple as 6 wires
Always wire the battery to the controller first, then the PV panel, then the load.
just use the battery as normal.
use 4 or 6mm2 cable from the reg to the battery, you don't need it for current but if the runs are long it will minimise voltage drop.
i would add a 25a fuse between the battery positive and the controller, just for safety.CLUB "Ah Shor it'll be grand"

Well got the sink in and all the taps connected and gas supply and then found a gas leak on the cooker
But it is a close fit but all fits in
I also fitted one of the new lights I got and it is a 1200mm led light and I am very very impressed so will be using these now
Does any one know where I can get some small junction boxes to take the small spade connectors? Just small and tidy for the roof as I have annoyingly already run the lights in the roof for the round ones I was going to use 07 Java Black TD V6 D3, EGRs Blanked, Tow bar, Full dog guard & divider, LED Spots , DRLs, GG ATs, RLD Sump guard, RLD Spare Wheel Protector, D4 LED Rear Lights, Limo tints on boot and Midnight tint on rear windows, Kenwood screen with Garmin nav, Rear cameras, D4 Steering wheel with flappy paddles, T-max split charge system, Tree sliders, Prospeed roof rack & Ladder, Alisport fast road inter cooler,
Massey Ferguson 35x
Sankey Narrow Track Camping Trailer (Gone but to a great home)
Chris, I and RLD can confirm there is indeed a frame on the panel, mine us mounted on a pair of window slides for elevation purposes which in turn are in an aluminium frame on XRS bars on the Prospeed
Now you see me
Now you don't
(I'll get better pics in daylight)
Can you explain the controller difference, more than happy to get a different one if it's better Altox GSM FBH controller thread

I've got one of the lights on a gel golf trolley battery now to see his long it will run it for, I have the battery in the trailer running all of the SMD lights
Well night two on test still as bright as, I wonder how long they run for, certainly enough for a weekend 2 night camp Altox GSM FBH controller thread
