yes, that's what the manual says.

But in my Updater tool (v4.2) there is no option to select another firmware?

whadayaknow, I tried your suggestion: CCF > ACM > Nav on Move ... Enable

And the option was there, so I enabled it. Thumbs Up

Car is still on the charger now, so will report back tomorrow if it did indeed work.

bit of a PITA to have to rescan all the radio stations and set the date/time after every CCF flash though Rolling Eyes

we really need to update the Wiki to reflect these changes, but every time I try to login there is a DB failure...

Well, I enabled the Nav on Move, but on our way to town this evening I asked SWAMBO to try entering a destination and it wouldn't let her

So it seems even when enabled the system doesn't work... Crying or Very sad

On a D4, the Nav unit firmware needs to be changed and this cannot be done via the OBD port.

Alarm chirp half working

Well plucked up the courage and plugged in the IID and had a look around, I enabled the alarm double chirp - it works/sounds great when unlocking but i can just hear something (not sure what the something is) when locking? is that the way its meant to be?

Ah, thanks Pat.

So how do I go about updating the Nav firmware?

At the current time, only the dealership will be able to do it unless someone here has a Nav update tool and SDD. http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/

As the corrected... Updating with the nav update tool wont enable nav on move. We will investigate this one in the near future.

I have a 2010 D4 nav in my D3 and I can enter navigation data on the move, as long as I accept the disclaimer when I first go on to the nav page.
