Going to see it tomorrow and a but apprehensive to be honest.
The electric seats are bugging me and I wish you could have manual throughout the range as I flip them up and down a lot to load things and I want it to be fast. Also if we crashed I would want to be able to get to the dogs or kids through the rear seats very quickly without relying on power and the system still working. Hopefully there is a manual release somehow to get to the 3rd row in emergencies. MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Did look at adding options, rear aircon and RSE is high on the list so it didn't look viable. MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

I would have thought the Safety industry would have realised that seats & electrical stuff might not work after an accident?

Think of all the useful things that this technology could have been used for, without adding a single electric motor!
How about a remote read out for the temperature inside the car (dog owners will appreciate that one) along with a way of checking and remotely changing if and by how much the sunroof and / or windows are open. I'd pay for that! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

That's one bit I didn't like, but (I think) it's only on the HSE's 10" screen, not the 8" screen on the SE [/i]

It is funny when "getting excited by a cubby" is written "out loud"! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

I tried to 'quote' it, but didn't work so just highlighted it in bold instead, nothing meant by it at all I thought 'out loud' WAS UPPERCASE

No criticism intended there sorry for any misunderstanding.

I went to see the new Disco yesterday in Hull got there at the earliest time so only me and one other present. Loved the car even the wife likes it (she compares the present and previous disco's as my postman pat van its not even red!)
Whilst the model I've ordered doesn’t have electric folding seats I thought the speed was ok, after all the comments on here I was expecting a snail pace, I think it would be a close thing manual against electric in a race. Having said that I'm not bothered mine wont have this as I don't skydive which if I did I don't see how I could manage without it.
As I said going early I was able to press all the buttons and watch things happen. It was quite funny later on when more people arrived seats were going backwards and forwards with people sat in them and asking who had done that, seats folding up no one quite sure who had done what. I also felt quite inadequate several with tape measure and sheaths of paper with sizes and calculations. So the bottom line is cant wait for the car. Time for a change I've had 3 Disco@s in a row D3 and 2 D4's. Dealer said I will be able to have a test drive in January. Will take delivery in April, had hoped for March due to tax changes, but there you go.

My thoughts exactly Craig, it's definitely not a box as my wife calls the D4
I'm sure by the end of this post the price will be over £100k instead of £46/65k Peter

Or save even more cash and stick with the arguably more practical D4!!
