All kinds of good things got done.
Changed front and rear brake pads. New pads Brembo.
Didn’t have to change the front brake wear sensor as it looked pretty good.
Had to change the rear brake wear sensor as it broke when removing. New sensor Brembo. PRO TIP: have a 9 year old dislodge, re-attach the plug and attach it to the correct hole behind the air suspension strut.
Changed front diff oil. New oil Comma SX75W-90
Changed rear diff oil. Same as front diff.
Changed transfer box oil. Ravenol TF-0870.
One of the minionesses helped me, start them young......

Did my first oil/filter change ever, and the air, pollen and fuel filter for good measure. Normally get a garage to do them but this time opted to do it. Went brilliantly and all done.2007 Discovery 3 HSE Lugano Teal

De-tango’d headlights to give a more modern look and to compliment the new DRL/fog lights... car is starting to look how I want it to look

I wasn’t sure on the ‘tick’ when I did mine but am still thinking of putting it in. Looks great on yours!!!
Think I may go the whole hog and pain the grill 100% teal to match. Half and half just doesn’t work although I am please with the improvement from the Amber. Same kit just not all used.

I wasn’t 100% sure about the tick and may paint the whole area black at some point... as for putting them in the oven.... undo everything you can (especially the covers in case they melted) take a deep breath and set the timer... 7 minutes worked well on the first light but the second was harder to get apart (recommend using a Stanley knife to cut the glue as you separate them. First light went back together ok but needed some extra sealant, second one worked like a charm ... go figure ?
Took the opportunity to give the inside of the clear lens a good clean but stayed away from the chrome bits... took about an hour and a half in total...
Definitely get the grille painted body colour, mine was done when I bought the car and looks great, only other option is all black imho I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Painted it yesterday/last night.
Sanded, Primer, Paint and Clear Coat.
On Saturday I’ll fine sand and polish it out. Hopefully it will look ok.
I think it is 100% better especially with the de-tango and black tape on side and top of lights. Still undecided on the tick but going to leave as is for now.2007 Discovery 3 HSE Lugano Teal

Had an appointment with Prospeed in York today - fantastic place with some amazing work going on involving a 6x6 project that I couldn't photograph.
Had the rack and ladder fitted and two cups of tea.

Fitted a Viofo A119 v3 dashcam. Really happy with it after two days of driving. It’s almost obscured behind the rear view mirror and the screensaver turns the display off soon after start. Picture quality is very good both day and night.
Need to figure out how to lay the wiring to the fuse box (and what fuse to use) as I’ve got temporarily powered off a charger from a 12 V socket.

ProSpeed light brackets fitted in advance of wiring and fitting my LED light bar, easy enough to once the fitting kit arrived from Steph at ProSpeed (excellent service again)
Also had DRLs wired up but will need to fit a dimmer module as they are very bright at night!
