Yep, heating, broadband, the lot apart from food.
It would be cheaper if he shared a flat, but with everything provided, he can concentrate on his studies or so he tells me.

Amazon man just left a package at my front door. While not too bad for many things books don't like getting wet, nor do I like soggy books. At least on this occasion I was in and it wasn't raining.....

Wifey in Starbucks in Greenwich that walked round both of us waiting at the till to then try and order something. She then claimed not to understand the concept of queuing (or what I was saying) until I explained in simple, and loud, terms. Or it was my expression “Seriously?”, something I’ve picked up from SWMBO. SWMBO urgently needed tea, we were on a tight time line to get the Thames Clipper boat, no way was she (said wifey) getting away with it!

In a hybrid BMW parked in charging bay but not charging the car. The reason? “It’s closer to the shop”

Begs the question, why in some places are leckie charging bays closer to the service station entrance, for example, than disabled bays.
Plus a separate question, and not the case above but hypothetical, if there was one leckie bay left in the entire car park, and I was bustin, would I park in the leckie bay or not. Hmmmmm, tough one, or not.

Cost - its expensive to install charge points and the further away from 'The Connection' the more expensive it is...... Most 'connections' are in or around the buildings nearby

Hmmmmm, not that any company is going to admit to that. I can just imagine the headlines in the Daily Fail: “Happy Services (fictitious name as I don’t want Martin or me to be sued) puts profit before disabilities”.
PS And, to upset many parents, don’t get me started on parent+brats parking in supermarkets. Disabled spaces closer to the entrance I agree with, same with leckie cars if saving the world’s copper resources is needed, but having kids is a voluntary process (or result of negligent inaction) and shouldn’t give favoured parking status.
Anyone else I can offend today?

whilst I agree with you ref 'The Brats' I can also see that you don't want the little 's running around carparks and in-between cars and roads any more than they have to......

We could ban them, and that would save the planet at the same time.

You'll have to invent something to plug into the charging socket and drain the battery!

This reminds me of when I go to the supermarket.
I park as far away from the other cars as possible, other end of the car park, where there are normally all the free parking bays, to avoid having the taken out of the sides of my Disco by other people opening their doors on it.
And when I come out there is always one idiot parked right next door to me, ignoring the fact that they could have parked in one of the other empty bays and left me some space!!

I’m quite lucky in that my local supermarket has several bays of four with hedges either side and almost as wide as the disabled/child bays. I can get the passenger side up against the hedge so well away from stray doors. When I had my Disco if I couldn’t get one of them stuck it in off road height. Just perfect height to line up the steps with normal car doors.2006 TdV6 HSE.
