I can't believe even remainers are taking this seriously..
I cannot believe you do not understand what you read.
The risk are explained in several communications from several groups
That is also why pharma companies have announced they are stockpiling medicines. Do you believe it is financially convenient for them and they do it only to reinforce project fear? It takes all sorts (to make a world).

No no no...
Opinion is expressed on extreme examples.. Project fear.

Of course they are doing it because it is financially convenient for them. I do not think politics has anything to do with this decision making process. D3 07 SE - still going strong

I have a brexit campaigning friend and business man that bought several hundred thousand euro's just before the referendum.
Why?
It was a free bet. Why not? Why not take the risk out of business by stockpiling? Good commercial sense....

It contains little..
Maybe you should try to read it yourself

I read the introduction to the document and it just contained questions. Questions we all know anyway.
I would have read further but felt that a union representing doctors was not likely to help me much so stopped.
Risk related to a no deal for healthcare world Have been described by a lot of different groups and clearly

We might as well write a briefing paper relating to the walk to the pub highlighting the fact that a jumbo jet could crash on us whilst we are simultaneously fighting off a bear and there appears not to bea plan for this. Unless the government can show they have addressed these issues, we need another.... yawn...
Keep clutching at straws regarding another referendum mind!
No do not spend time read it, it does not matter and I have no time to summarise it on a red bus. Spent too much time on this already It takes all sorts (to make a world).

Personally I fear more the fact that democracy allows anybody to vote, write on forums etc but again that is democracy and I still prefer to have it

The Nuffield Trust and NHS Providers are also expressing their concerns:
Quote:In a leaked email to NHS England boss Simon Stevens, NHS Providers says leaving the EU without agreement would immediately be a real risk to services.
The group warns it would make it harder to stop the spread of diseases.
Quote:NHS Providers - which represents acute, ambulance, community and mental health services within the health service - has expressed concern about what it says is a lack of engagement with ministers in the email, seen by the BBC.
It has called for NHS England and NHS Improvement - which oversees NHS trusts and providers - to convene a group of trust leaders as a matter of urgency.
In an email sent to NHS chief executive Simon Stevens, also copied in to Mr Raab and Health Secretary Matt Hancock, it calls for a co-ordinated response to confront the challenges that would be presented by a no deal.
Quote:Mark Dayan, policy analyst at the Nuffield Trust, said "a large degree of chaos" was "implicit" in a no-deal Brexit and, without a transitional agreement with the EU, it was difficult to predict the impact on supply of medicines.
"There's obviously been talk of stockpiling. There's been talk in some cases of chartered flights to bring over supplies that maybe don't have such a long shelf-life. And although that's drastic action, it's probably quite justified," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.

Professorpool- In case you missed this.
LT wrote:Quote:Since the EU referendum, the BMA has extensively explored the impact of Brexit on health services across the UK and Europe. We have produced a series of briefing papers which have highlighted the many ways in which the UK’s membership of the EU has benefited patients, the health workforce and health services, as well as the risks of leaving the EU without a deal in place.
Key points
With less than eight months to go until the UK leaves the EU, there is still too much uncertainty around the implications of Brexit for patients, doctors and health services.
A ‘no deal’ Brexit could have wide ranging, and potentially damaging consequences for health services across the UK and Europe, including on workforce and immigration, Northern Ireland, access to medicines, reciprocal health care, professional qualifications and patient safety, access to medical radioisotopes, medical research and rare diseases.
Now that more is known regarding the potential impact of Brexit, the BMA is calling for the public to have a final, informed say on the Brexit deal, including the option to reject the notion of a ‘no deal’ given the serious risks such an outcome carries.
