February FYTD sales up 12% for the Disco
Still the worst seller in the range.
Considering Discovery’s past and present were always considered to be the best all rounder in the range LR must find this slightly disturbing.
I really think they have got the pricing structure wrong on this occasion and along with the ‘controversial’ looks opinion does seem divided.Discovery 4 HSE

I look at it slightly differently ....the figures are not far off what the D3\4 achieved ....but in a further diluted JLR range and market as a whole 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

It rather looks like we’re, yet again, comparing a period where a Discovery, of sorts, was in production (Feb 2018) with a period when the Discovery had been out of production for 5 months (Feb 2017).
Combine that with an instant refresh of LRE and demonstration fleets and we have an apparent 12% increase in sales. Gosh!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

So what ? the headline figure is comparable with D3/4 figures and that has been the main thrust of the argument from the sayers of doom like you.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Then in Sep 2011 for the D4............................ 4,329 sold
It's is just a number game at the end of the day and you can "prove" anything you wish !!

Before rolling with laughter (?), i'd like to know, if someone has this information please: for how long D4s have been on sale in China, if ever?
Thanks.
