DSL how can I watch "Hiking the Americas" nothing noted on Google?
Channel 4 app, downloaded to the iPad so can watch offline. We started to watch the Russia to Iran one but SWMBO put a stop to that, to many questioning questions in that. Wil save it for the Mongolian leg.
Thanks
PS: Anybody else searching (forever) in vain - it its "Walking the Americas" not "Hiking the Americas"

Last stop of the day, after 2nd time zone change. It’s going to be tough getting up tomorrow.
Station life at night.
Freight by moonlight.

Kiosks for selling stuff. All ideal for long haul train with hot water tap.

Plus how we ordered, take a pic and point on screen. SWMBO saw someone else do it, worked for them and us.

Those mugs are brill, heavy, good volume and act as bottle steady for VC. All for R90/£1.13 each. Bargain. Shame they’ll be slung in Beijing.

Morning peeps from a sunny & nippy Siberia. -5c out there.
Pretty sunrise, esp with the frost.

Very rock & rolly night, I’m starting to wonder if this train will make it all the way! I’m glad we booked our train travel on the G type high speed trains in China, not the slower overnight ones. These trains make Vietnam Railways journeys seem smoooooth.

We had a little exercise running to the top of our train, then when running back SWMBO wanted to keep pace with the now moving freight train. Which we did, for a little while.
Steam loco hiding in there.

And lovely station building. We still don’t venture too far from the open doors and train guards, getting the steam loco rubbish pic was well outside my comfort zone.

Train dude will be getting those looks from SWMBO if he doesn’t heap on the coal through the night!
The nearest we have to CH. Glad we’re not on UK time.

What are the locals like to deal with, Del ?
Last time I was in Russia - several trips almost 30 years ago - they were mostly snotty as anything and I swore I'd never go back

Not had many dealings but some smiled, most didn’t. Refraining from being controversial!
Another CCCP loco. They love their old relics, like these carriages! Also saw a T-34 tank (another I Spy ..... T) and a couple of what looked like Foxbats or Foxhounds flying over earlier. Lovely spot.

Lots more coal loaded on, phewwwww. It’s going to be a bit parkie tonight.

And dinner. SWMBO found them in a stall and was most pleased with herself. Note the “Rock” bit on the cups. Very apt. I had to break into hers.
