Specifically with the D4s i think its also the effect of a lot of guys who dont like the D5 and were waiting for the new Def but now see its pricing staying too high so keeping D4 prices also artificially high.
my head says sell it now and cash in but i just dont like anthing else out there anywhere near as much except the new DefMY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

Dealer told me that much of the D4 demand has been driven by the huge increase in caravan sales and the need for towing vehicles alongside that. D5 maybe marmite but most are still expensive second hand prospects whereas D4 is within reach of those entering the caravan market.
Who knows?Jim

I still think demand is strong, but there are a lot on the market at the moment and prices do seem to be softening. Good ones are still moving quickly from what I have seen (having missed out on a few!)

i'm giving in....
so.....did the unimaginable and pushed the car details onto a few buy it now websites...
Thinking i've had the Disco for the last 2.5 years not done many miles over the Covid may be a good time to cash in.
So for my 2015 62k FSH HSE Lux i'm settling for £29,000 with Wizzle
I know with the 7 years looming next March with belts, service & potentially rear brakes and discs in the mix required I think it makes sense to offload it whilst the going is good.
I did get a great deal when I bought it as the LR Dealer was switching franchises and dumped all their stock so after 2.5 years can't believe I am going to be a few extra quid in with zero depreciation.
What next.....love the defender but prices are still too high...in the meantime I said to daughter i'm going to co-share her Fiat 500s (which i'm sure I paid for) until I find something else....

If you do decide on an RS4 then feel free to message me, i'm thinking of selling mine for around £29k (2015, 54k miles, FASH & Warranty, High spec due to being an Audi demo car so has all the toys).
