This thread has made me feel guilty about not donating for a few months
I've never sold anything, but I have bought an item from a fellow member and got a good deal on tinted windows.
I enjoy the site and find it an endless source of enjoyment and entertainment (I am at sea for 5 weeks at a time). I've learnt a lot and laughed a lot. Whilst I think this thread has got a bit 'agressive' in places. I agree with the general sentiment. If we want the site to continue then funds must be forthcoming from those that use the site (either as a market place or a source on information).

Simon,
Never bought through the site, never sold through the site, but happy to support the site.
Now, anyone want to buy this? One careful owner, still under warranty.
Oooh, is that the Soap Box 3000 XLS? I've had a bad experience with them. I fell off mine. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

It's not mine. I'm only acting as the agent. A mate of mine is selling it because he's got to get out more in his D3. He says he'll give 100% of the proceeds to the site. What am I bid?

do you now. well I suggest it continues as a valid topic and remains open.
Nothing wrong with the topic, just the way it was being addressed.
At least a bit of humour has come back into it.
