Suspension raise & lower using key fob |

Yep - It works well for me! Didn't at the start but RTFM and realised the hazard lights have to be on. Between that and the rear view camera (tow bar ball just in view) it makes coupling up my double axle trailer a dawdle!

Bit pointless that the hazards have to be on though - unless there's a way to put them on with remote too.

I wish I hadn't spotted this post - then felt compelled to try the Global thingy out. Its a very wet morning after all.
All windows opened just fine. But when closing, the drivers side rear closed then immediately opened half way. The passenger side rear didn't close at all. Front windows closed fine. Disco 4 TDV6HSE

Make sure that the one touch operation is fully functional on all windows. The drivers window sounds like the "bounce" issue - try resetting first, otherwise this is a software update.

I have the same issue with global closing not working, and it seems to affect all Oz D4's. My dealer (Austral) checked all their stock of D4's and they all exhibited the same problem. He has suggested this may be due to some ridiculous ADR rule designed to prevent children decapitating themselves. They were going to check up but have heard nothing back.

Also just read in the manual that you should be able to raise or lower the suspension with the remote key and that doesn't work either!!!! £54k and half the S t doesn't work!!!!
Might be starting to get cross now.
I have just been through the same exercise trying to raise the suspension to the caravan hitch:
After following the instructions (p172 of Handbook) and not getting the required suspension height change by remote smart key (to hitch caravan) and about to book in for warranty claim to fix, it is now clear that there is a misprint in the hand book. Key button 5 (Light icon) should be used either with button 2 (unlock icon) to raise or button 3 (Bootlid) to lower. Button 1 (padlock) as printed in handbook does NOT work. Have tried this on both sets of keys and now can happily use remote control when hitching
Happy 'vanning.

Tried this on my 4 week old 60plate D4 GS (which has an SE badge by mistake! anyone know why? )
4 windows down - yeh!
3 windows up - doh! - NS passenger o/s (works in all other ways except remote).
Back she goes.
suspension remote seems fine - Yeh! A disco 2, wanting a 3 since 2004, not any more, I've got a 4!

The global locking works on my D4, it took me a while to work it out though. On mine it only works if you double lock the car (press the lock button twice) on the second press hold it down for the three seconds.
The car lowering and raising works too but I always forget the button combinations?
