Ordered mine on Friday, received it today. Have yet to unpack it but excellent service! They did not have any bungs so the quest for that starts.

Sound good, didn't know is that was still proceeding. Will hold off for now, will see what I can use temporarily from the debris field that is my shed. Count me in for a bung when you are looking for buyers.

Mine came this morning with a bung. Being the technical wizard I am do you push that as hard as you can up the exhaust pipe and let go, or do you have to hold it in place?DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Just used the Takla for its first full wheel change prior to the trip to Lake Salisbury. I used my Viair 400P compressor instead of the exhaust pipe and it inflated to the point of being able to change both of the wheels on one side in about 3 minutes from completely empty. Makes changing to & from muds much easier & quicker. The axle stand is there as this is the first time I've used it and in case I screw up. Unfortunately I kept forgetting it was there and twice let the air jack down with it in place.

Patience is a virtue, so they say anyway! You will enjoy it all the more when it arrives, but then Mrs DiscoDunc might take it from you and gift wrap it for Cristmas!

For anyone one interested, Viair 400P compressor is £219.44 (incl VAT + £8.50 p&p) if bought via http://www.mattsavage.com/acatalog/compressors_portable.html , however via ebay £179 (incl VAT + £10 p&p) at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VIAIR-12-v-portable-...dZViewItem ! Phoned to check that they were new & same as those bought through mattsavage web site & were. Had earlier phoned to see what discounts were available on 1 compressor & was politely told "none"!
Your needs were already anticipated!
Also forgot to say that whilst it inflated to 2 wheel lift in 3 mins, it is really quiet too. Thought it would make a real racket like my cheapie Halfords one.
