Getting angry DG keep getting the fob off have spoken to Air jack whinchester who will do a proper four ton jack for the same price as Takla HSE TDV6 Silver : "Avin it large"
But £35? What the hell is it made of? Cellophane?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
Do I take it from this that you have had the pleasure? I have images of the jack sat there groaning under the d3 while the hose inflates.....I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Similar to mine, mine cost $90 aus.
Works fine used three times in anger. I always use a car stand and give it some extra protection with a rubber car mat though. when It starts to wear I'll buy another. If it fails in use I still have the crap LR jack. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Won't lift a D3, don't touch it
Whats the actual problem? - weight rating seems OK - is it not large enough or leaky or is the material too thin? Being the proud owner of 10 wheels and scared sh*tless of the crap jack (and effort involved in using it) I'm looking at air jack options...Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

It lifts half a D3 easily. When would you want to lift the whole weight of the D3?“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Weight rating of the Draper one might be okay Steve but it is neither big enough or strong enough to lift a D3, when I tried it inflated okay but failed to budge my D3 and it only just managed to lift a Fiesta
The End
Ah, yes, I can see that size would be an issue. If you are offroad and unable to drop the car to access height without the car getting in a panic and going into extend mode you will need a lot of travel to actually lift the car.
Makes perfect sense. Thanks Slimer I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Having seen the actual size with the Fiesta I realise it is smaller than the one I have. The construction looks similar and mine is rated at 3T. Mine will lift the D3 easily from off road height. A cheaper jack is an option if you do not intend to use it that often.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Steve, for wheel changing the airjack is OK, but as I have not got a plug for the other exhaust, I have to use Betsy to pump it up!
I also have a 2 tonne Halfords trolley jack which is very good at lifting 1 wheel at a time to change wheels. Takes 20 minutes for all 4 and its stable.
