Blocking cones will fly out and you have to hold them in.
Try this: one man operation or if you have short arms.

I still can't get mine to work very well, even after TFCs instructions about twisting the stem, it is easier to use the compressor.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Me too, compressor is the way I've gone. Used it three or four time for full wheel swaps & so muck easier, plus it's there already to check tyre pressures if wheels haven't been used for a while.
Nothing like being good and late to the party. As it's now May, does the importer have any more of these in stock and is it likely they will honour the previously agreed group price?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!
To answer my own question (you can tell when I'm bored; I post questions then go and do the research before anyone else gets a chance to type anything) APB are expecting some in stock any day now. If you give them a ring on 01299 250174 and tell them you heard about the Takla jack through this forum they'll take your details and call you as soon as they arrive in stock.

I though that this was a long finished group buy. I'm keen to get one - do I just 'sign up' to join still or do I just phone the suppliers and quote this site at them?
From the conversation I had with the supplier yesterday they seem happy to let us ring directly and add us to the waiting list for the jacks that are due to arrive in the next few days. As you said, just mention this site and they'll match the deal. I did tell them they would probably hear from a few people in the coming days.
