Thought I would take a run out there to tesco petrol station and see if they had any, £2.96 a ltr on the price tag took 2 to the counter and that came to £2.96 needless to say I came home with 10 and going back tomorrow.
No special offer price or 2 for 1 is this just a mistake

No mistake as £1.48 a litre seems to be the going rate in lots of Tesco stores and garages.
Finding it hard not to buy more but with 25 bottles in my garage I must resist.

It looks like Tesco are replacing it with smaller bottles of comma stuff ?
I went to my local Tesco yesterday and the shelf was full off the little bottles !

For a while it was sold at £2.96. In fact when it dropped from its original price of just under a fiver my place had it tagged at that price whilst it rang at the till at £2.96. Having changed the tag to £2.96 the price reduced again within days to the current £1.48. They seem to reduce the price faster than they label the shelves.
Yes, slightly embarrassed by my stock levels but Tesco Gainsborough has many more for those passing through.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
