Ray that is a good question about the brakes thought about it alot and I am still 50/50 on that one but I think I can get them to line up if I put in some more couplers fitted to the drop etc...
The drop is about 150/200mm from memory it is just to level it up on a normal tow bar as I want to experiment with fitting a 50mm ball Hopefully not too much otherwise will be back under the knife Am just experimenting really

Just popped down to see how things are going and now you have pointed it out to me the drop looks massive measured about 250mm actually so is not too bad. Have some ideas for brakes. Won't have the clearance it did before but I am not too worried about that as it won't be going extreme off road I don't think
Should be picking it up tonight to put it to bed before I go away so will put some final pics up tonight the extra length will make it ace for reversing
Any suggestions on what to make the brake rods out of? Just some bar and then thread the ends to put clevis pins on?

Greg- I know it is a tad longer than i thought but I have gone for the drop as well So of usable extension is 600mm so not much more than yours The drop is going to be home for the spare wheel

The drop looks a lot more than it is but as you can see it sits pretty much level
(The tractor hitch is basically the same as the D3 )
