Well ... thanks for the comments....
And yes I've gone for the Discovery Sport PHEV and having driven it and read many reviews the PHEV version gets good write ups from all the ones I've read, and I can't make good use of a 'D5' or Defender... in fact couldn't use the D4 for what it was meant for.... (only did 27,000 road miles in nearly 6 years).
I've gone for the 'top spec' - R Dynamic HSE with matrix headlights and other bits (works out more expensive than the D4 when bought brand new) ... so hoping this will do the job....
I could be wrong - I got the 'don't do it' on the LandCruiser forum when I changed to a Discovery...!
If it all turns out wrong I'll just blame 'DG" who I got the 'idea' from some months back....
Still its only a car and only money .... and I won't know how good or bad it is until at least the back end of July ..... they can't build them quick enough.... 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

Also ... meant to add ... to be honest getting the D4 'off my back' - with its potential crankshaft issues and a 'BIG' service due next year along with being a Diesel with all the potential issues and being quite 'old fashioned' after all.... I even thought that when I picked it up 'Brand New' 6 years ago...
I know its a classic - and wish I could have 'stored' it undercover somewhere as it was 'mint'. But Hey Ho ... time to move on I figure...... 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

Cambelts... yes...
Other than that what have I added?..
Bandit glass protection film, Bodsy came out and gave the engine some magic and now it nearly drives like an MY16, nearly but not quite. Winch, erm.. rock sliders and compressor guard. Think that's it. Won't ever get my money back on those but for now it's a keeper. Test drove a Defender but for the money it didn't quite do it for me..yet.

I periodically check out of curiosity and my D4 has slowly but surely increased in price by about £4k over the last year. I think the demand is very strong for these, but the low mileage certainly helps.
Just pulled a new quote. Added another thousand miles on the odometer. Price is now up again to £33k.
Demand seems increasing on these!
1 week later, price increase of another £665. Where's the top on this market!? 2016 D4 HSE Lux

I was in a JLR dealership this week after their morning sales meeting that instructed a £2000 minimum price increase on all used stock.... it’s happening everywhere!
Unusual times!
To get in my D4 I sold a 2018 transit custom for 3k more than I paid for it 2 years previously.....(admittedly I had upgraded everything!) but it’s a sellers market for sure.
I reckon I could sell my D4 that I purchased in March for at least 5/6k more than I bought it for! A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

On 12th April I had WBAC value my 2016 Landmark (registered October 2016) with 24K miles on the clock, they offered £33,530 which I thought was quite good.
I just had a new valuation from WBAC of £36,650.
That is an increase of £3,000 in a little over a month !!! Gone 2016 Landmark D4
