Hey Colin
Now that you have settled in, have you managed to get this project back on track?
There are a few chaps on FFRR forum looking for this mod as well
Can you pls let us know how you are doing?
If you need guinea pigs, just shout

Hiya Baben
Very nearly there. This week is deadlined to be the very last one i will be doing some final finishing up on the renovation works. A few more metres of carpet to lay, a bit of skirting to fit and installing the last few panes of glass, that arrived today, in their ally frames.
After that there may still be a few days shifting my Admin to their new offices. which will feel much more like evicting them out of the space they currently occupy and moving their desks and furniture out of what will be the Vehicle bay.
To give you some idea, next to my own, now quite spacious, office is another identically sized room with an adjoining door and large ally windows (2 x 2 by 1 metre) that are just about to have the glass put in them. This is currently occupied by my Admin Manager. And so is currently the Admin Managers Office.
However next week, she will be moving to her own purporse built office and that room then becomes "My Project Room"
The very first thing i intend to do with it is open the box of bits for this D4 to D3 wheel project, which is already on top of a cupbord in this room and get this project re instated and back on track, and truth be known i am already going over it in my head and figuring the next move i may need to make on it.
However i have to say that i will also then have total access to the vehicle bay and am equally wanting to finish up my L322 Ultimate Infotainment upgrade project and unlike the wheel one, this requires it to be the right time of year temperature wise.
But either way, i really don't imagine either to be unfinished by Christmas at the latest.
I note the posts on the FFRR site, but this is not quite the same as a D4 to D3 conversion and they may have to wait a bit longer for that.

Don't worry chaps
I have invested simply obscene amounts of time, money and effort into this project, a select few have even seen for themselves just how absurdly close i was to completion before having to put this project on hold.
The main button control aspects are sorted (hence the You tube Video), as is the Heated wheel control stuff and even the radio controlled paddle shift is all sorted and working, it's just this stupid Back lighting voltage dropping resistor aspect that is the very last hurdle i need to sort.
