It was after they extended the recall downunder but not here as they hadn't "released the extended VIN list". Turned out my car was covered in a list somewhere after I pointed out that I had oil in the line and it was unacceptable that I'd be covered in of part of the world and not here!
Mine went in this morning , 70 mile round trip ...........
Got a call after 2 hours to say they had not got the parts in stock WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!
TOSSERS !!!!!!!
Not happy ............

Just got mine back after best part of a day in workshop. Had to do the whole works and outstanding recall on rotary coupler.
Gave me a courtesy car and washed mine! Full marks to Trinity Motors, Hinckley, who I haven't used for a couple of years - also quoted price of £747 including VAT for 105K service including both belts replacing. That's over £500 less than the indie |I got a quote from this morning!!!!

well mine was in first thing this morning job done in just under 1 hour just new pipework but had a list of work they say needs doing but would ring me with a quote later in the day. so of i go to my first property of the day stop the car and turn off the ignition what a shock i had then one hell of a noise from the rear of the car i nearley shat myself. epb not playing ball any more so i restarted car moved it forward now i have no epb till i get time to look at it this weekend . maybe just bad luck but i have had this before from my local stealer when i had my steering uj done and what a supprise i had a knackerd rotary coupling within 3 miles of leaving the same stealer ended up costing me about £300 to get it sorted as they just did not want to know . so when they rang me with the said quote of £640 i mentioned the epb reply was "it's not anything we have done " to this i tell him the tale of my last vist above. his responce was "must just be my bad luck !!!. so all told i think i need to find a new stealer as every time it been down at this one it costs me as i seem to be cursed.
sorry for the long post but just me off today the joys of owning a d3
Heck !!!! and I thought I had issues ....................

Maybe they didn't check the booster for oil and change the servo? The oil will eventually affect the seals.
After a 2nd heart stopping moment I can state that it is not the booster but the sticking non-return valve... I will be calling LR tomorrow.
Cheers,
AP
As an update:
- brake Booster needs to be replaced
- brake master cylinder needs to be replaced
- LR Austalia contacted by the dealer, to confirm what the situation is wr Warranty (as the vehicle is out of warranty).
Note: Vehicle had had the correction work done last year.... hopefully they state that there was some form of failure in their process....

It is a recall you should not be charged anything for it Check the recalls on the Dotars web site. Ask for a refund if they refuse speak to Fair trading. Which dealer?“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Mine went in for this on Wednesday prior to the new owner taking it, also asked them to check the sunroof as one of the support arms now had a large crack in it Verdict was that it also needed the whole sunroof replacing as they can't just replace the support arms and the dealers still waiting for the new unit to arrive! If its not a euro iv then get them blanked. Got mine done by Pete at Bell Autos last summer as was having the same problem. The best 100 or so quid ever spent on the disco, and comfort in the fact the EGR's will never need looked at again.
Oh, had mine in for the recall yesterday. Needs the servo and the pipework done so the full 2 and a half hours job. After an hour the service dept came over to say after they dismantled the car they picked the last pack of pipes they had on the shelf in the department and realised one of the pipes were split so had to put all the old bits back on and i have to go back again on Tuesday to get it done again! Had mine done just after christmas, only needed the pipe so it was done in 45min
To the D3 owners that have had the recall done, and have had the new pipe put on....
Have you thought the same as me;
That the new pipe looks very untidy in the engine bay?????
