Bodsy has helped a few people get a 'contribution' from Landover when this very problem has occurred. I was just wondering, have they all signed-up?

Not a case of shaming people DG, but nothing wrong with a bit of encouragement
Kingmuff, some of them have, yes. TBH some of them have since sold their cars because of the problem, but no worries, the more the merrier, it's an open forum, so people are free to benefit from the collective work done here but hopefully more will sign up
Slim, doesn't cost anything to click the sign up, I'll be pm'ing payment info out probably tonight. but pay when you can.Bodsys Brake Bible

ok I feel named n shamed by this witch hunt that's going on here, for all those that have had oil pump casing failures in to donating money for a good cause
In my opinion any one of us who have a disco 3 its a small price to give as it helps out so many .
I was lucky as have a few others on here with getting a new engine out of LR not free but a fair % contribution off the total cost.
The forum helps out a lot of people directly or in directly with the wealth of knowledge or skilled mechanics to hand if there local
IF you don't want to give that's fair enough, on that note
CHEERS BODSY once again for your help .....£50 coming your way for the fund .

Perhaps an hourly bump between us all and a change in title perhaps
Like when your in trouble shout 'fire' ...... as more people will come to your aid
So just a polite suggestion maybe a change of title to inlcude - 'MUST READ' just a thought....... no other reason but to bump and gain more notice to the thread D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.

this is a genuine problem and even though I havnt experienced the problem, I think its worth supporting.
I have to say, having contributed about £1300 to the forum in the last 18 months, im a bit off that there is nothing forthcoming from the forum management to support this. What have I contributed this money to ?? On this evidence, I shan't be contributing any more, ever.Duncan

Ebay is a last resort. Too many trawling Ebay now.
At least on this forum, you are dealing with mature grown ups (mostly )
You contributed to the forum, as the forum allowed you to sell your D3 off in parts, in your own forum! You Ebay fees would have been more My D3 Build Thread

maybe, but I would have got more money from selling them on ebay. I thought maybe the forum members would be more worthy Duncan

I'm certain they were more worthy. And I'm also certain that you had a much, much easier time selling parts on the forum, than dealing with those on Ebay. I have as good as given up on Ebay now My D3 Build Thread
