For what its worth, in addition to my +3 too high reading, and lack off heat from heater, I note that my speedo is reading +4 KILOMETRES too high across the whole speed range.

true speed 90km....indicated 94km.
That's standard practice. It can be adjusted, though your dealer will look at you as though you are mad if you ask, as they probably cannot do it. However, as with reported fuel consumption (which is also overly optimistic) it can be adjusted so that it shows the actual speed. It's just LR protecting themselves against speeding issues.

As promised in an earlier post, I have extracted the names of all the forum members who have posted comments in this topic indicating their outside temperature display is inaccurate. I have also shown the dealerships which we are aware have been notified by forum members.
For those who have not yet reported the fault, it is important that in the first instance you report it to your dealer so the matter can be logged in the correct way. When doing so, you can mention that you are aware there are at least 27 vehicles affected, and at the same time name the 13 dealerships shown below.
However if your name appears in the lower section, can we ask you confirm the dealership you have, or will be reporting to so we can include them and update the list. As you can see your personal identity remains private - this is just so we (the 26 of us listed plus any others who post in the next few days) can use this information to prove to dealers that its not just an isolated vehicle which has the problem.
We would hope that if sufficient reports are received by LR from the dealers they will see there is a serious issue which needs investigation and will not go away. Between the 26 of us, we have spent in the region of £1.3 million. In return we should be listened to by LR when an issue arises such as this.

Great work, thanks Brian.
To update:
Following surgery to replace a sensor, Mr Blue continues to run a temperature and is being kept in for observations...
Fair play to Carrs , they have checked mine against reference vehicles, and can see that there is still an issue that needs resolving, despite having changed the sensor. They are continuing to liaise with LR technical services to resolve. Further works planned next week. Good luck guys Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

I am away at the moment, so haven't checked my D4, but following the thread with interest and will check next week to see whether I have a similar issue.
Not yet had chance to take the car in, but the service manager at Shukers in Ludlow has been made aware of the problem (and this thread) and I'll be taking the D4 over there before end of the month.
So "Shukers in Ludlow" would be my dealer
Thanks BBDisco3 LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
