Well after my beloved Disco spending the past 5 days in the Land Rover dealer workshop it has finally been returned to me and yes the temperature issue of 3 degrees higher is STILL there ! The service manager agrees with me 100 % there is defiantly a 3 deg temp difference fault and the technicians have tried all they can, new probes etc but sadly no joy ! They have been talking to the men in white coats at the Land Rover Technical team who were advising the technicians on what to try/ check etc . Land Rover say this is the first time that anyone has reported experiencing this 3 degrees temperature difference issue but I see from other posts and comments that there seems to be quite a few of us with the same fault so can I suggest that anyone with this fault speaks directly to their service center to explain this and insist they then contact Land Rover to register this as a TA. So as we speak the men in white coats are busy trying to work out a solution to this fault be it a software patch or new type of sensor... I will have to wait and see ..fingers crossed it is not to long.

What's the betting this will get labelled as a "characteristic" and the owner get versed in a bit of cerebral arithmetic.

With or without a cerebral arithmetic lecture, If I need to subtract 3 from the display then I expect to receive a refund in the purchase price equivalent to the same 20% or so
That just about sums up my feelings
Booked in for 4th January.

I wonder if it's a sponsorship thing with the "3" network, well they are getting a lot of free advertising here.

I have reported my high reading to the main dealer and they plan to try and solve it for me soon.
I have counted 10 of us on this thread as having a problem so far.
To me that certainely proves that there is an issue. Perhaps a few more of you should post here is well, ( providing you have an eroneous reading of course). It's a good bet that someone at JLR reads these posts.

And completely ignores them. The list of problems that have received the brush off is long and varied.

Are Swedish degrees the same as English ones
If not DSL can test his arithmetical calculation and equational ratios
